Me: The more pictures I see of William Beckett now-a-days, he reminds me of John Dillinger from the movie ”Public Enemies”…No Complaints here either.
This amazing musician, is part of The Academy Is…, but didn’t start music there. He was also Remember Maine.
William Beckett has inspired me in so many ways, one of them being writing. I can only hope this Chicago man can inspire more.
So, what’s more interesting than the middle of the summer?
Is it the fact that my 18th birthday lies only 18 days away?
Perhaps it is that a friend is on his last day of leave for the navy, and since he is an amazing cook, is making all of my friends and I a sure to be amazing meal?
Could it possibly be that I’m going to meet my friends boyfriend today, who is from Japan?
A culture shock, amazing meals, future celebrations? All of these things are occurrences of my life, and happen to be going on later today.
Now, I don’t know a word of Japanese, but I’m going to make a new friend.
I always help out my friend when he does these cooking parties, so I’l be doing something useful.
And as for my birthday in 18 days…well, I’ve got a whole future that comes after that.
